Park Min-young Reflects on Grueling Schedule During 'High Kick' Era
On the 24th, Park Min-young and Wi Ha-jun appeared on the YouTube show 'Salon Drip', hosted by Jang Do-yeon, to promote their tvN drama 'Siren'.
During the show, Jang Do-yeon remarked to Park Min-young, "In all your projects, there seems to be a scene where you catch someone cheating." Park Min-young responded, "That's why they call me 'Dopamine Young'. I'm used to it now." Jang Do-yeon joked, "Didn't you also witness a love line between Min-ho and Beom in 'High Kick'?"
She continued, "During 'High Kick', we had to improvise continuously. The schedule was so demanding with five episodes a week that it's impossible to shoot like that now."
Park Min-young also revealed a behind-the-scenes story about her character 'Run Yumi'. She said, "There was a scene where I had to run, and I did it so well. I wasn't fast, and my stamina was lacking, but my form was good. The writer saw it and decided to create 'Run Yumi', and I even sang the song myself."
Reflecting on her career, Park Min-young said, "The projects where I struggled the most have positively influenced me and reignited my dreams." She added, "That's why I keep challenging myself with new projects. I'm truly an animal of forgetfulness," she joked, bringing laughter to the set.
