Park Ji-hoon, his first attempt at playing a villain, “I will have it all”
KBS 2TV's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Fantasy Sonata', which is scheduled to be aired for the first time in January next year, is a fantasy historical drama romance between a man with two conflicting personalities and the woman who loves him, between fresh love and fierce obsession. It is based on the popular webtoon of the same name.
Previously, still cuts of actors Park Ji-hoon (Sajo Hyun, playing Akhee) and Hong Ye-ji (Yeonwol, playing Gye-ra) were released, raising expectations for the chemistry between the two main characters. On the 28th (Tuesday), a short first impression of 'Fantasy Sonata' will be shown. The first teaser poster was released.
The released teaser poster shows Park Ji-hoon sitting alone in the middle of a dark background with the message, 'I'll have it all.' The phrase ‘you will disappear now’ catches the eye. The throne placed in a desolate space that looks like a ruin, the torch that dimly illuminates the surroundings, and the ray of light shining on it seem to represent the character's mind, which is like an abyss, giving off an intense atmosphere.
In addition, it is impressive to see the main character, Park Ji-hoon, who has two personalities in one body, sitting on a throne as if he has won in a mysterious space. Park Ji-hoon's appearance, where it is not clear whether this person with a shadow on his face is 'Sajo Hyeon' or 'Ak-hee', causes excessive immersion.
In the play, the crown prince 'Sajo-hyeon', played by Park Ji-hoon, and his second personality 'Ak-hee' coexist in one body, but they are also lovers who fight desperately to take over the woman they love, 'Yeonwol'. It stimulates curiosity by telling the story of a man with two conflicting personalities becoming entangled with a woman and a fateful love story unfolding.
The production team of ‘Fantasy Sonata’ said, “We wanted to visually show the main character, who has two personalities in one body, and the space in his heart. “I would like you to watch who will be the person who won the throne as if he won the battle and how the conflict between Sajo Hyeon and Akhee will progress,” he said, foreshadowing the birth of an unprecedented fantasy historical drama.
KBS 2TV's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Fantasy Sonata' is a collaboration between writer Yoon Kyeong-ah and director Lee Jeong-seop. Park Ji-hoon, who was recognized for his acting skills in the drama 'Weak Hero', and Hong Ye-ji, who has recently emerged as a hot star, are a luxury product that will fill the drama with strength. We plan to make the play even richer by featuring a large number of actors.
