The Boyz's Joo Hak-nyeon complains of back pain → suspends activities... “Focus on treatment”
On the 16th, his agency IST Entertainment said, "Joo Haknyeon has been suffering from back pain for some time and has been undergoing periodic examinations and treatment. However, as the pain has recently worsened, he visited the hospital this afternoon for additional detailed examination and treatment. "Due to symptoms of stenosis, I received a doctor's opinion that I should avoid making major movements for the time being and monitor my condition through medical treatment and rehabilitation," he said.
He continued, "We believe that the health of the artist we live in is our top priority, so after careful discussion with the artist, we have decided to suspend activities for the time being and focus on treatment and recovery. The 2nd full-length album 'PHANTASY Part 2' 'Six Sense' is scheduled to be released on the 20th. He announced that he will not be able to participate in the 'Sixth Sense' promotions and the encore concert of The Boyz's second world tour 'Generation'.
Information on Joo Haknyeon's health recovery and joining schedule will be announced later.
The Boyz, to which Joo Haknyeon belongs, will release ‘Sixth Sense’, the second part of their 2nd full-length album ‘PHANTASY’, on the 20th.

We would like to inform you about the health status and future activities of The Boyz member Joo Haknyeon.
Joo Haknyeon has been suffering from back pain for some time and has been undergoing periodic examinations and treatment, but as the pain has recently worsened, he visited the hospital this afternoon (the 16th) for additional detailed examination and treatment, and was found to have symptoms of stenosis of the lumbar disc.
