The scene of Oh Jin-seong (played by Na In-woo) discovering that this was true gave a sense of tension.
Accordingly, the viewer rating for the 4th episode of 'Oh Dang-gi' recorded a national average of 2.1% and an average of 2.2% in the metropolitan area based on paid platform households incorporating cable, IPTV, and satellite, once again breaking its own record and showing signs of increasing viewership ratings for each episode. At the beach in Woojin, where rain was pouring down heavily, Jinwoo Oh was strangled by a mysterious man and lost consciousness. Fortunately, the patient was taken to Jinjin Medical immediately after discovery and underwent surgery, but the situation was critical and there was a risk of brain death. Oh Jin-seong visited Woo-jin to understand the circumstances of the accident, but nothing was found at the scene where evidence was lost due to heavy rain. Oh Jin-seong, who was looking around the scene with steady steps, discovered a mysterious cuff link in a crevice in the rock.
Oh Jin-woo ultimately failed to wake up and was declared brain dead, adding to the sadness. Yoo Jeong-sook (played by Bae Jong-ok) recommended organ donation from the brain-dead Oh Jin-woo, and after much deliberation, Oh Jin-woo and Hong Young-hee (played by Jang Hye-jin) decided to follow the wishes of Oh Jin-woo, who had pledged to donate organs while he was still alive, saying he wanted to help others.
A year later, Oh Jin-seong was working as a detective at Seocho Station, and Cha Young-woon (played by Kwon Yul) returned to Korea after completing a year of training in the United States, which he received as a reward for solving a serial murder case. Meanwhile, Oh Jin-seong, who started out with his fists, has grown into a more seasoned detective who can slyly respond to the gangsters' taunts, and Cha Young-woon, who did not drink alcohol due to health problems, is full of energy, asking Go Young-ju (played by Kim Ji-eun) for a promise to drink. It was like that. Meanwhile, Bae Min-gyu (played by Jeong Sang-hoon), who fled to the United States, also caught the eye by returning to Korea on the same plane as Cha Young-woon.
At the end of the broadcast, the hidden truth about Oh Jin-woo's death was revealed to the surface, providing a shock. On the first anniversary of Oh Jin-woo's death, a video titled 'That Night, Oh Jin-woo' arrived on Oh Jin-seong's cell phone. Oh Jin-seong was shocked after checking the video.
