BTS Comeback Live at Gwanghwamun Square: A Well-Organized Event Draws Fans from Around the World
Thousands of fans flocked to Gwanghwamun Square to witness the BTS Comeback Live, yet the event maintained a pleasant atmosphere thanks to systematic crowd control.

On the evening of the 21st, TenAsia met with ARMY, the fandom of BTS, at Gwanghwamun Square to celebrate the 'BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG'.

A fan who traveled from Gimpo expressed satisfaction, saying, "The journey here was smooth. Isn't it incredibly orderly?" They added, "There's no litter, it's clean. Fans organized a cleanup campaign the day before, and as a fan, I'm proud."

A university student from France studying in Korea described the scene as "amazing." They said, "I was worried it might be crowded and chaotic, but it feels well-organized and I moved around comfortably." They humorously added, "The Korean government and Seoul City are managing this event very systematically. It would have been different in France." Another fan chimed in, "The guidance and control from the subway were excellent, allowing me to arrive here comfortably without being jostled."

A fan who traveled from the Philippines for the BTS comeback noted, "There were many people, but there were also plenty of guides, which was impressive. It was convenient due to the organization."

While some voiced concerns about excessive traffic control near the venue, cooperation from residents of Jongno-gu, Seoul, contributed to a pleasant atmosphere.

Meanwhile, traffic at the Sejong-daero intersection is restricted due to the event, and the crosswalk connecting Cheonggye Plaza to Gwanghwamun Square is closed. Only exits 1 and 8 of Gwanghwamun Station are open, requiring a detour to reach Gwanghwamun Square. The police explained, "If people exit from all directions, we can't control the crowd, so only two exits are open."
