Actor Kang Ki-young shared his thoughts on transforming himself into a villain.

On the afternoon of the 29th, a round interview was held with actor Kang Ki-young at a cafe in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul to commemorate the end of tvN's 'Amazing Rumors 2: Counter Punch' (hereinafter referred to as 'Amazing Rumors 2').

Kang Ki-young played the role of Pil-gwang, the highest level evil spirit, in ‘Gyeongsomun 2’. His first attempt at becoming a villain was successful. The sad look disappeared and a heavy presence was revealed with eyes full of venom. The show continued to be praised for breaking the ‘character of life’ category.

On this day, Kang Ki-young said, "I made a lot of changes to the styling itself. The part that stands out the most is the change due to weight loss. My family also said I looked like a different person. It was a huge compliment."

He continued, “We originally planned to film the exposure scenes before the weather got cold, but the weather suddenly got too cold, so we had to postpone it for about 5 months. It was like a lightning strike. But I think the change in schedule helped make it look even more spectacular.” He said.

Kang Ki-young said, “I would like to give 65 points” to his performance as a demon. He said, "No matter what work I do, I don't think I'm 100% satisfied. When the work is over, I always have the regret of 'I could have done better.'" He continued, "But as much as I worked hard, I gained a lot of affection for it. I can't use even a little bit of energy in the last shoot." He said, "I asked the director to kill me quickly. It was very difficult, but it was a satisfying ending because he made Pil-gwang fight fiercely until the end."
