YG is implementing a ‘Fan Etiquette Campaign’ to ensure the safety of both its artists and fans.
YG Entertainment said in a fan notice on the 18th, "We are grateful to the fans who care for and support our artists. We are planning to implement a 'Fan Etiquette' campaign to establish a healthy fan culture, so we ask for your active participation."
The agency said, "Please refrain from unauthorized visits or trespassing into the artist's private spaces, such as dormitories or practice rooms, or from visiting unofficial schedule locations." “Trading is illegal,” he said, urging people to report on those involved.
He added, "Chasing a moving artist's vehicle, attempting excessive physical contact, or blocking the artist's movement may lead to an accident. Please cooperate according to the guidance of the on-site staff."
In addition, he cautioned against actions such as creating malicious rumors through unfounded content, using profanity or sexually derogatory remarks, and posting various malicious comments, saying, "We are continuously monitoring malicious posts and actively taking legal action."
Lastly, YG said, "We will do our best to establish a healthy fan culture, protect the personality, rights and honor of our artists, and provide more careful support for their growth and development. To this end, we ask for your active cooperation." added.
