Bae Jeong-nam boasts a special friendship with Lee Sung-min, with whom he worked in the movies 'Sheriff' and 'Mr. Joo: The Vanishing VIP'. Previously, in a 'Hero' round interview, he revealed, "I will go to my brother's house on New Year's Day and have a meal."

Bae Jeong-nam appeared in the movie ‘Hero’ (directed by Yoon Je-gyun), which was released on December 21 last year. 'Hero' depicts the unforgettable last year of Ahn Jung-geun, who killed Ito Hirobumi in Harbin in October 1909 and was sentenced to death by a Japanese court, from the time he prepared for his rebellion to the moment of his death. The movie is being screened to rave reviews.
