Kang Min-kyung's father sues for real estate fraud worth 1.2 billion won

Davichi Kang Min-kyung's father and older brother were accused of real estate fraud.

On the 6th, SBS Entertainment News reported that 19 people, including investor Park, said, 'Kang Min-kyung's father, Mr. A, and her older brother, Mr. B, run a real estate development company together, and around September 2017, they acquired forest land in Munji-ri, Paju, Gyeonggi-do for two years with no clear development plans. It was reported that a complaint was filed at Busan Yeonje Police Station on the 2nd, stating that a real estate development contract worth a total of 1.2 billion won was deceived by saying that development would be carried out within the company, but the contract was not kept.

On the other hand, Kang Min-kyung's father, Mr. A, is known to have filed a counter-suit against the five accusers on charges of defamation. Mr. A said, "I have never signed an investment contract with those people, so I don't have any money to ask them for. This is no different from claiming, 'I am Kang Min-kyung's father, so give me money.'" He wrote a comment on his daughter's YouTube channel or called the shopping mall. “We have filed complaints against people and will continue to respond strongly,” he claimed.

This is not the first time that Kang Min-kyung's father has been accused. In 2016, a religious foundation issued a press release through a law firm, saying, "Kang Min-kyung's father, Mr. A, deceived a religious foundation and received hundreds of millions of won in taxes, and in fact used his own company funds without paying taxes." “I am being investigated by the prosecution on charges of misappropriating it.”
