The musical ‘Death Note’ returns with an encore performance.

According to OD Company on the 6th, the musical 'Death Note' will hold an encore performance with a new cast at the Charlotte Theater from April 1 to June 18.

The musical 'Death Note' is based on the Japanese cartoon of the same name and is a suspenseful portrayal of the fierce battle of brains between genius high school student Light Yagami and his counterpart, the famous detective L.

In this encore performance, not only the all-time legendary cast that created the legend of sold-out performances for all performances returned, but also a new cast that added synergy. First, Hong Gwang-ho and Go Eun-seong return to play the role of Light Yagami, a genius who accidentally picks up the Death Note and punishes criminals.

Kim Jun-su and Kim Seong-cheol will return to the stage as L, the world's best detective who solves unsolved cases with his outstanding brain and reasoning skills. Next, Jang Eun-ah will play the role of Rem, the Shinigami who gave Misa Amane the Death Note and shows infinite love and sacrifice for Misa, and Seo Kyung-soo will play the role of Ryuk, the eccentric Shinigami who deliberately dropped the Death Note into the human world to relieve his boredom. In particular, Lee Young-mi as Rem and Jang Ji-hoo as Ryuk have joined the new cast.

Lastly, in the role of Misa Amane, who loves Light Yagami, Ryu In-ah, who played Light Yagami's younger sister Sayu Yagami in the previous performance, returns as a new character, and Minje Jang returns to the stage.

OD Company producer Shin Chun-soo said, "We sincerely thank you for your great love for the musical 'Death Note', which was released as a new Korean production last year. Thanks to the audience's full interest and support, it recorded an unprecedented box office success, and the 7th Korean production “I was able to receive the honor of winning the most awards, including Best Picture, at the Musical Awards. With the intention of repaying the support I have received, I will do my best to present a performance that can convey good energy,” he said.
