Baek Jong-won, Kim Young-ok, victims of fake news of unexpected death

On the 12th, Kim Hye-eun posted a photo with the caption, "How much I cried when I heard the fake news from a bad YouTuber that my role model #Teacher Namnam had passed away." He added, "What could I do with the regret of not being able to have dinner once? Teacher Kim Young-ok, whom I met again after 'Haeundae Lovers' in the drama 'Nam Nam', I will never miss."

Previously, Baek Jong-won, Park Geun-hyung, and Hye-eun were embroiled in death rumors. It was the parties who suffered damage from the unfounded facts revealed through YouTube. Baek Jong-won, who was filming overseas, suddenly became a hot topic after being linked to rumors of his death. Baek Jong-won explained this directly to the franchise owners at the headquarters. Baek Jong-won said, “There are many store owners who are worried about my current situation. I am doing very well and my body is healthy.”
Hye-eun also appeared on ‘Let’s Live Together with Park Won-sook’ and directly addressed the death rumors. Ahn So-young said, “Someone I know called me and said, ‘Hye-eun’s sister has died.’” Ahn Moon-sook also added her support, saying, “I heard that Hye-eun suddenly suffered a cardiac arrest and was taken to the hospital.” Hye-eun responded in bewilderment.

Recently, fake news has been circulating on YouTube. Unconfirmed facts are being circulated as if they are the truth, with provocative titles and thumbnails. It is stars who suffer from fake news, and YouTubers who spread fake news to make money. This is because YouTubers benefit from high views. The public has no choice but to believe that fake news is real. The public needs to have an attitude of selectively accepting information. However, before that, it seems that a legal system is needed to deal with the actions of YouTubers who spread fake news.
