Shin A-young donates instead of wine on Valentine's Day

Broadcaster Shin A-young contributed to the earthquake relief efforts in Turkiye, Syria.

Shin A-young said on the 14th, "I was thinking of drinking wine at a nice place to celebrate Valentine's Day and getting in the mood, but since when did I start doing things like that? Instead, I donated to the recovery from the Turkiye earthquake and sent baby diapers, baby products, and relief goods." .

He continued, "In a disaster situation like this, how much more desperate would it be for families with young children? Having a child really feels like nothing else. Yesterday, when I heard the news that a 2-month-old child was rescued. After 128 days, of course I was very happy, but on the other hand, I was very happy. "It's heartbreaking to think that there are more babies who haven't been rescued. They say we can still send relief supplies," he added.

Shin A-young married a Harvard alumnus who is two years younger than her in 2018 and had a daughter last year.
