Choreographer Noje (real name Noh Ji-hye)'s agency, Starting House, complained of unfairness, saying it was not a 'settlement dispute'.

As a result of TenAsia coverage on the 9th, Starting House revealed that Noje had made a press play seven months after the settlement-related meeting. In March of last year, Starting House and Noje discussed changing the settlement day. This was a request from Noje’s side.

Afterwards, despite the controversy over Noje's abuse of power in SNS advertising, the agency paid all of the settlement money. It is said that the belated payment of the settlement was delayed because the settlement process was busy due to the controversy over Noje's abuse of power.

The agency expressed anger, saying that if Noje had been going to proceed with a settlement-related lawsuit in the first place, he should have said so in March of last year. The explanation is that he waited for time to pass after the controversy and made a negative press play after 7 months.

According to the legal community, Noje filed a lawsuit against his agency, Starting House Co., Ltd., at the Seoul Central District Court in December last year to confirm the absence of debt.

In addition, a temporary injunction was requested to suspend the effect of the exclusive contract with the agency until this lawsuit is concluded.

Nevertheless, Starting House has not yet made a ruling, and their stance is that they will embrace Noje as an artist until the end of the contract.
