On his birthday, BTS member Suga donated 100 million won to emergency relief in Turkuye and Syria.

According to Save the Children, an international children's rights NGO, on the 9th, Suga donated 100 million won for emergency relief in Turkiye and Syria, which suffered heavy damage from a record-breaking earthquake.

Suga said, "So many children and families have suffered great damage due to this earthquake. I offer my condolences to the survivors and victims. I hope this will be of some help to the children affected by the earthquake, and I hope it will be used to provide relief supplies for children." “I do,” he said.

The donation for emergency relief in Turkuye and Syria will be used through Save the Children to purchase children's relief supplies such as winter blankets, mattresses, and school supplies needed in southern Turkiye and northern Syria.

Suga, whose birthday is March 9, has continued to do good deeds every year on his birthday, such as donating to recover from forest fires on the east coast of Gangwon and Gyeongbuk, as well as donating to children with cancer and residents affected by COVID-19.
