Jeong Da-eun resigns from KBS announcer after 15 years
On the 28th, announcer Jeong Da-eun announced, “I’m leaving KBS for the last time this week, so I’d like to inform you of the news.”
He continued, “I feel sad and afraid as I leave the workplace where I started out and the colleagues who took care of and cared for me when I was clumsy and lacking,” and added, “Nevertheless, seeing the media environment that is becoming new every day, I also want to change once again and take on the challenge with a new mind.” “I decided to give it a try,” he said, explaining his reason for leaving the company.
He also added, "I plan to ask questions and try things out that I have never been able to ask before while living as an announcer for 15 years and a working mother for 41 years. I hope that wherever we meet again, it will be a little more like me and a little more new."
Announcer Jeong Da-eun said, "I will never forget the undeserved love and support I received here as announcer Jeong Da-eun. Stay healthy until we meet again."
Jeong Da-eun joined KBS as an announcer for the 34th open recruitment. She married Jo Woo-jong, a former KBS announcer, in 2017 and has one daughter.

There are many feelings of regret and fear as I leave the workplace where I started out and the colleagues who took care of me and cared for me when I was clumsy and lacking.
Nevertheless, as I watched the media environment becoming new day by day, I decided that I wanted to change again and take on a challenge with a new mindset.
As an announcer for 15 years and a 41-year-old working mother, I plan to ask questions and try things that I have never been able to ask before.
Wherever we meet again, I hope it will be a little more like me and a little more new.
