Chu, no violation of ‘dual contract’ with By4M

The Korea Entertainment Management Association's Reward and Punishment Steering Committee (hereinafter referred to as the 'Korea Entertainment Association') announced that there was no violation regarding Chuu's double contract, a former Girl of the Month.

According to the industry on the 4th, the Korea Marketing Association judged that the suspicions of Chew and By4M Studio tampering (prior contact) recently raised by Blockberry Creative were “unfounded.”

However, the association said that the final outcome of this matter will be revealed through the main lawsuit conducted by the judicial authorities.

In December last year, Blockberry Creative submitted a petition to the Korea Entertainment Association requesting that Chuu be banned from entertainment activities. This is due to suspicions that Chu had tampered with By4M Studio before his contract with Blockberry Creative ended.

Chuu was previously expelled and permanently expelled from Loona for reasons such as abuse of power and verbal abuse toward staff. Afterwards, Chuu revealed that he had signed an unfair contract with his agency. A structure in which you are not paid even if you are active. He expressed difficulties in a situation where his debt was only increasing.

In addition, all members of Loona have filed a preliminary injunction against Blockberry Creative to suspend their exclusive contracts. This is because he signed a contract with the same contents as Chu.

The court ruled in favor of Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsol, and Choi Ri. However, in the case of Haseul, Yeojin, Eve, Go Won, and Olivia Hye, the lawsuit was dismissed due to changes in some of the contract provisions.
