‘Show host’ Jeong Yun-jeong’s fan club appeals for sharp emotions
On the 4th, an article believed to have been written directly from Jeong Yun-jeong's fan cafe was posted on an online community. The article appears to have been issued by a group of fans following the controversy over Jung Yun-jung's profanity.
Fans said, "Jung Yun-jung is called 'the Midas hand of the home shopping world', 'the queen of sellouts' and 'the woman who sells 100 million won a minute'. In her autobiography, she emphasized communication, empathy, and persuasion with customers. That's how much she believes. “He is a show host with clear values and a sense of depth.”
“However, on January 28, 2023, while Hyundai Som Shopping was broadcasting a live program called ‘Jeong Show’ (Hyundai Home Shopping’s ‘Carol Frank Ructuring Cream’ broadcast), the broadcast ended early even though the cosmetics he was selling were sold out early. "He was dissatisfied with what he couldn't do and used profanity. The fans are devastated, but they accept the decision to permanently expel him," he said.
He added, "However, Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party, also used abusive language toward his sister-in-law in the past and wrote numerous abusive comments on social media. Nevertheless, he received national support by receiving more than 47% of the votes in the presidential election," adding, "It is becoming a hot topic."
Previously, on January 28th, during a cosmetics cream sales broadcast, Jeong Yun-jeong became irritated and swore "XX" as the product was 'sold out' without being able to fill the designated broadcast time, saying that the broadcast could not be ended early. He continued, “I can’t receive travel broadcasts early. Travel products are only broadcast for a certain amount of time. Mr. Lee, why are you traveling again?”
When another show host said, “I couldn’t help it,” he continued swearing, saying, “XX, I was going to have fun.”
