Uhm Jung-hwa has a secret to maintaining her body even at 54 years old.






On the 9th, a video titled ‘Uhm Jung-hwa’s delicious way to manage her hair’ was posted on Umaizing Uhm Jung-hwa’s YouTube channel ‘Umaizing Uhm Jung-hwa TV’.
Eom Jung-hwa, who is managing her diet, started making an avocado shake, saying, "I'm building muscles these days, so I have to eat carbohydrates, protein, and vegetables three hours before working out. I have to eat something that can satisfy these three things." He then took out the bread from the freezer, saying, "I'm going to bake some bread and eat it as toast for carbohydrates."
The dishes were neatly organized in the cabinet. Eom Jeong-hwa said, "I'm a bit interested in crockery these days. Don't they all come in sets? But I always have each crockery. The crockery I bought in the past was from this series (Cho Eun-sook Gallery crockery). Since I eat alone, I don't eat much. He boasted about the bowl, saying, “It looks pretty even when I put snacks (in a long bowl) and small amounts of side dishes.” He continued, "The one I'm using recently is Hwasoban. My favorite bowl these days is the salad bowl. As I keep receiving these as gifts, I want to have this bowl as a set, so I've been looking at this. Now, I'm a little more interested in cooking. “I’m interested,” he said shyly.
Uhm Jung-hwa revealed that she bought nuts to snack on because of hunger caused by dieting. Eom Jeong-hwa said, “I like it, but if I eat a lot, it also makes me fat.”
The staff asked Uhm Jeong-hwa, “Do you like cooking alone at home?” Eom Jeong-hwa said, "I like it. I don't enjoy ordering and eating. Since I'm on a diet, when I order, the ingredients in it may not be what I want. When I'm on a diet, I usually don't order anything unless it's a salad. I order chicken and things like that. “There is no way,” he said. When the staff member was surprised and asked, “Why don’t you order chicken?” Uhm Jung-hwa responded, “Huh.” Additionally, Uhm Jung-hwa confessed, "If I want to eat pizza, I sometimes order chicken when I'm not on a diet, but that's when my younger brother or friends are around. I've never ordered it alone. I don't remember it that way." He continued, “If you want to eat pizza, there is a way to make it and eat it as much as possible without interfering with the low-carb, high-fat diet.”
Uhm Jeong-hwa created a diet menu using chicken breast. He said, "Originally, my diet when exercising is 100g of protein, about 100g of carbohydrates, and then some vegetables. This is slightly seasoned chicken breast, and it is convenient and good to eat." He then hurriedly said, "I need to eat 3 hours before exercising, but it's a bit late. I need to eat quickly." He continued, "Rather than eating it because it tastes good, it's a diet that you put in because your body needs it. Right now, I was filming a drama, a movie, and had other work to do. Before that, I got injured and couldn't exercise for almost a year and a half. Then, I lost a single muscle in my body. I lost. Do you know what the hardest thing was? Even walking around the house was difficult. I lost muscle in my hind legs. So I felt it again. As you get older, you need to build muscles like insurance. Why don't you move slowly when you get older? If you don't have muscles, you'll lose. “I can’t help it,” he confessed.
The staff asked, “Do you really like sports?” Eom Jung-hwa was surprised when she said, "I didn't like it, but out of necessity, I changed my mind to say I like it. You don't want to exercise, right? I changed it to 'I like exercising.' But it works. You just have to think that you like it." I brought it up.
Uhm Jung-hwa enjoyed a delicious diet meal with toast and shakes she made herself.
Born in 1969, Uhm Jeong-hwa debuted in the 1992 film ‘Marriage Story’ and released her first full-length album as a singer in 1993.
