Yoo Ah-in ‘takes drugs’ at a club in Itaewon
On the 10th, an official from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said, "Ahead of Yoo Ah-in's second summons and investigation, we are additionally investigating accomplices who took drugs with Yoo Ah-in."
As the second summons investigation became known, Kookmin Ilbo reported on the 11th that Yoo Ah-in was suspected of using drugs with acquaintances at a club in Itaewon.
Yoo Ah-in is said to have been frequently seen around the A Lounge, B Club, and C Club areas in Itaewon with his acquaintances since October of last year. It is reported that models and broadcasters are among his acquaintances.
A witness at the time revealed that Yoo Ah-in used the innermost seat of the B Club as a reserved seat and lit something different from a cigarette.
He also said that he saw Yoo Ah-in excessively drunk without even ordering alcohol.
Yoo Ah-in is currently under police investigation for ‘habitual use of propofol’. It is known that propofol will be administered a total of 73 times in 2021, with a dosage exceeding 4,400 ml. In addition, cocaine and ketamine were also detected in a detailed analysis conducted by the National Institute of Forensic Science.
On the 27th of last month, Yoo Ah-in was summoned to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Drug Crime Investigation Unit for questioning. Yoo Ah-in bowed his head to reporters that day, saying, "Personally, I think I was mired in the wrong swamp of self-justification that my deviant actions did not harm anyone."
