What is the 'gentrification' that caused Baek Jong-won's explosion?

The released video shows Baek Jong-won struggling for the Yesan market. In fact, Baek Jong-won's company personnel were mobilized to solve dust prevention work, additional restroom installation, parking lot, and waiting time issues.
What is disappointing is ‘gentrification’. Gentrification refers to a phenomenon in which underdeveloped old downtown areas are revitalized and the middle-class or higher class flows in, replacing existing low-income indigenous people.
In fact, Baek Jong-won, who visited a whole chicken restaurant, said, "I have to do it to the extent possible. I don't want to look like that, I'm dying." The chicken restaurant in question recently received a sudden eviction notice from the building owner.
He continued, "In some ways, it's a sin," and lamented the situation, saying, "Some people refuse even if we offer double the basic market price, and thankfully, there are companies that let us take over."
Also, "I heard stories such as that the cost of lodging has doubled. That is to create a negative image of the budget that has been made difficult. Just wait for two years. Will the family suddenly rise up if the price is raised? In the current budget market, 95% "I can't eat and I'm leaving. Let's go solve the problem nearby. This is a really big opportunity.
