Actress Baek Ji-won returns to the stage after five years.

On the 18th, LED Entertainment announced that Baek Ji-won, who has shown off her presence through various media works, will meet the audience for the first time in a long time with the play 'Cherry Blossom Orchard'.

The play 'The Cherry Orchard' is one of Anton Chekhov's four masterpieces and depicts people who face the risk of losing the cherry blossom orchard, their only refuge where joy and sorrow coexist.

Baek Ji-won takes on the role of Ranevskaya, the landowner of the Cherry Blossom Orchard, and has enjoyed splendid wealth and glory. However, in the face of Cherry Blossom Orchard's final choice ahead of bankruptcy, she plans to show explosive acting energy by showing the amplitude of her emotions.

Baek Ji-won, who debuted in 1996 with the play 'My Father Has Cancer', was recognized for her acting skills by winning the Yoo In-chon New Actor Award at the 50th Dong-A Theater Awards in 2014 thanks to her consistent stage experience. Since then, he has become known through the media and has established himself as a premium actor in name and reality, engaging in activities without limits regardless of genre.

The play 'Cherry Blossom Garden' in which Baek Ji-won participates will be performed at Myeongdong Arts Theater from May 4th to May 28th.

Meanwhile, Baek Ji-won played the role of Hong Dae's (Park Seo-joon) mother in the movie 'Dream' (directed by Lee Byung-hun), which will be released on the 26th, and played a scene-stealing role.
