Kim Sun-ah, who is the real culprit in the murder case?
Channel A's new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Queen of Masks', which is scheduled to air for the first time on the 24th, is about three spectacularly successful women whose best friend who became a murderer due to their lies 10 years ago appears, and the truth hidden behind the masks is revealed, and a man changes their lives. It is a mystery melodrama revenge drama in which the desires of friends who face a whirlwind collide.
Kim Sun-ah plays Do Jae-i, a star lawyer who defends the weak, and is expected to captivate viewers with her acting that straddles the line between good and evil. Next, Oh Yoon-ah takes on the role of Yoo Yoo-na, an ex-murderer who is pointed out as the culprit in a mysterious murder case, and Shin Eun-jung shows off her expanded acting spectrum through the character of Joo Yoo-jeong, the chairman of the Youngwoon Arts Foundation. Lastly, Yoo Seon is expected to show off the charm of a career woman with a strong attachment to success as Mariela Hotel's first employee-turned-vice president, Yoon Hae-mi.
The still released ahead of the first broadcast shows Jae-yi (played by Kim Seon-ah) trying to track down the truth about a terrible incident that happened at a bridal shower nine years ago.
After the incident, Jae-yi, who became a star lawyer by taking on sexual violence cases of powerless women, meets a victim who said she was violated by a masked man and hears the story of that day. Jae-yi, with venomous eyes, is enraged by the testimony of a victim who went through the same situation as him, and asks for help to put an end to the perpetrator, predicting full-scale bloody revenge.
Meanwhile, Jae-yi, Yoo-jeong (played by Shin Eun-jung), and Hae-mi (played by Yoo Seon), who were designated as suspects in the murder case, from 9 years ago also attract attention. Those who were urgently arrested for being at the scene of a murder are claiming their innocence in the interrogation room.
Yu-jeong, who first discovered the murder scene, lowers her head and sheds tears, while Hae-mi faces the police's urging with a confident face. On the other hand, Jae-yi, who is wearing a black hat, is unable to escape the shock and is trembling with fear, creating a tense atmosphere. Above all, curiosity is rising about where Yuna (Oh Yoon-ah), whose whereabouts are unknown, is, and who the real culprit of the murder case is.
