In a phone call with Ten Asia on the 2nd, Park Hye-kyung said, "I attended the party only because my exclusive contract included a clause requiring me to perform 20 times at an event hosted by the company, and there was no other intention at all."
Hye-kyung Park said that the reason she signed an exclusive contract with Channel Soom was because of an older friend she had known for a long time. He said, “It was my sister who knew that I had been working alone without a company for a long time, and she said she would introduce me to a good company, so I believed her.” He added, “She also brought me an exclusive contract. But on the day of the contract, she signed a contract for 20 performances at an event related to the company. “There was an agreement, and I agreed because it was about singing,” he explained.
Regarding what was captured in the party video, Park Hye-kyung said, "Only part of the video was edited and reported, but if you look at the recorded video, I did not say a single word about investment. I am just grateful to have signed an exclusive contract with this company. “I just said that I was happy to be able to sing,” he claimed.
Park Hye-kyung said, "If I had a fault, it was ignorance. I signed the contract with the company because I thought I could sing after hearing that it was a company that started various media and performance businesses, but at this age, like a fool, I told others about my personal life." "I'm so embarrassed that I called for information. I won't do it again. I don't even want to sign an exclusive contract."
Meanwhile, Park Hye-kyung was embroiled in rumors related to the decline in stock prices issued by SG Securities. In particular, singer Lim Chang-jung, who also attended the party that day, is also suspected of being involved in stock price manipulation.
