EXO Baekhyun, immediately after being discharged, 'fan business' controversy?
EXO's Baekhyun opened up about the controversy over inducing fans to jointly purchase socks.

On the 22nd, Baekhyun announced his position through the fan communication application Dear You 'Bubble'. He said, "I'm not trying to make money by using Eris (the fandom's nickname for EXO-L), but..." He said, "The sock tool was suddenly mentioned, so I said, 'Oh, it would be nice if Eris, who I like, could buy it cheaply.'"

Then, he explained, "Honestly, I was prepared for the negative views. But it didn't matter. It was okay if I bought it cheaply because of me. And since I didn't have to receive any money from the socks company, I asked for the lowest price."

Baekhyun added, "I just like playing with Aeris. That's the happiest moment and the moment I smile with all my heart. I hope someone doesn't cover it up with a different color."

Lastly, he said, “I didn’t want to do a long explanation… or something like this, but I hate getting hurt more.”

The controversy over 'sock fan business' arose in the process of Baekhyun's recent communication with fans through SNS. At the time, a fan asked, "Where are you wearing white socks? I've never seen white socks that are so tight."

In response, Baekhyun replied, "I bought 100 of these, but I don't know the information. But it's really good." After that, fans made joint purchase requests for the product. Baekhyun showed appearances such as finding out the purchasing company through a stylist. However, in a series of processes, suspicions were raised that Baekhyun was trying to earn profits through joint purchases.
