Jessica, rent overdue for the brand head office she founded

It has been confirmed that the enforcement process was initiated for failing to pay rent on time in the building where the head office of a fashion brand founded by singer Jessica, a former member of Girls' Generation, moved in.

According to the legal community on the 25th, the Seoul Central District Law Enforcement Officers carried out an extradition execution of the fashion and cosmetic brand Blanc & Eclair the previous day. This procedure, also known as compulsory execution, refers to the fulfillment of a judicial duty by the state by coercive power against a person who does not fulfill its duty.

In December 2021, Blanc & Eclair was sued for overdue rent from the building owner A of the building in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. In September 2020, Blanc & Eclair signed a lease agreement with the owner of the building, an American, Mr. A. The lawsuit seemed to end when the court made a decision to recommend a reconciliation in June 2022, but it was found that the extradition execution was carried out as Blanc & Eclair did not comply with the terms and overdue again.

Blanc & Eclair is a fashion and cosmetic brand founded by Jessi Ga after leaving Girls' Generation in 2014. It is run by Jessica's boyfriend, Korean-American businessman Tyler Kwon.
