Chun Woo-hee returns after 4 years, 'beneficial scam' starts off well

According to Nielsen Korea on the 30th, 'Beneficial Fraud', which premiered the day before, recorded a viewership rating of 4.6%. Compared to the previous tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'Family', which ended quietly with an average rating of 2%, this is a decent report card.
'Beneficial Fraud' is a work of revenge against absolute evil between two very different people, Lee Roum (Chun Woo-hee), a fraudster who cannot empathize, and Han Moo-yeong (Kim Dong-wook), an overly empathic lawyer. The fact that the swindler and the lawyer work together to take revenge has attracted viewers' interest even before the show aired.
Along with Chun Woo-hee's passionate acting, colorful visual transformations caught the eye. In the first episode, prior to the full-fledged story development, the process of being released from prison as a murderer who was famous as a genius girl in childhood was drawn.

Chun Woo-hee's acting transformation worked. Viewers gave positive reviews to the immersive storyline and his acting skills. It's still the first week of airing, but the ratings are showing signs of rising.
Signs of rising viewership ratings are very good news for Chun Woo-hee. Chun Woo-hee has shown a weak side in the drama. TVN's 'Argon' and JTBC's 'Meloga Constitution' recorded low ratings.

However, at the time of airing, it recorded viewer ratings of 1% and did not get a big response. Rather, after the show ended, it gained popularity by riding on word of mouth and driving backwards.
Chun Woo-hee, who returned to a drama after 4 years since 'Mello is the constitution'. Attention is focusing on whether 'Beneficial Fraud' can become a box office hit among his drama filmography. Of course, the door has just been opened. 'Family', which was criticized, also had a rating of 4.9% for the first broadcast.
Chun Woo-hee is an actress whose acting skills have already been proven by performing intense performances in the films 'Han Gong-ju' and 'Sunny'. It means that there will be no noise due to the controversy over Chun Woo-hee's acting ability in 'Beneficial Fraud'. If you don't lose the feeling of the first meeting and match the three beats of directing, script, and actor well, it is expected to capture the hearts of viewers without difficulty.
