The next day, Chairman Kang Il-gu told Jae-yi, who was suspicious of Yun-cheol, “Sometimes the truth can hurt you. On the contrary, finding your truth can hurt your precious person”, stimulating viewers’ reasoning power by leaving meaningful words.
Faced with a new situation with Je-hyeok's death, Jae-yi, who succeeded in turning off the CCTV at the entrance of the Kangbo Hotel with the help of Chairman Kang Il-gu, was converted into a suspect during a police investigation when it was revealed that the camera had been activated earlier than the scheduled time.
Jae-yi, whose eyes went blank at the words of the detective, was speechless. At that moment, Chairman Kang Il-goo came into the interrogation room and surprised everyone by confessing that he had ordered the hotel CCTV to be turned off that night. He testified that he turned off the CCTV so as not to leave a record of meeting Jae-yi, who was born out of wedlock, and predicted a violent aftermath with the shocking ending of witnessing a mysterious man wearing a hat at a hotel on the day of the incident.
In the epilogue, Kang Hu, wearing the same hat as the man in the hotel, hurriedly ran away, causing goosebumps in the viewers. Whether Kang-hoo, who was acting suspiciously, was the real culprit who killed Je-hyeok, and the secret hidden between them made them more curious about the future development.
