BLACKPINK member Jisoo was diagnosed with a novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).

YG Entertainment announced on the fan community platform Weverse on the 1st, "Blackpink member Jisoo had mild cold symptoms on the 30th of last month, so it was confirmed that he was negative through a self-test, but he was finally confirmed today."

"Jisoo showed a strong will for the performance to keep his promise to the fans who have been waiting for a long time, but inevitably decided not to participate in the performance for the safety of everyone as well as the artist's health."

Also, “Only three members, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé, will participate in the ‘BORN PINK’ world tour held in Osaka, Japan on the 3rd and 4th. We ask for your support as we will do our best to perform as scheduled.”

Lastly, he said, "We will do our best to ensure the health and safety of our artists as well as Jisoo's speedy recovery."

BLACKPINK is in the midst of the K-POP girl group's largest world tour, 'BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR 'BORN PINK', which mobilizes about 1.5 million people.

BLACKPINK is about to go on a stadium tour in Paris, France and 4 cities in North America. In July, he will be the first K-pop artist to appear at the British music festival 'Hyde Park British Summertime Festival'.
