The deceased Song Hae, today (8th) 1st cycle of death... I still miss the national MC

The late Song Hae celebrated the first anniversary of her death.

The late Song Hae passed away on June 8 last year at her home in Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. He was 95 years old.

Song Hae, born in Jaeryeong, Hwanghae Province, debuted in 1955 with the Changgong Music Theater Company. Since May 1988, he has been in charge of hosting the longest running program in Korea, KBS1 'National Singing Contest', and received much love as the longest running MC. Before the corona virus, he toured all over the country, interacting with performers and audiences, and conveyed laughter and emotion.

As he was a national MC who firmly guarded the entertainment industry for a long time, his juniors in the entertainment industry, such as Yoo Jae-seok, Kang Ho-dong, and Seol Un-do, saw him off on his final path right after the news of the deceased's death was known.

The 'National Singing Contest', which became vacant after Song Hae's death, is continued by comedian Kim Shin-young as MC.
