'Dispute/controversy' SM receives 'public report'... Established 'Wilderness 119'
On the 21st, SM Entertainment opened the 'KWANGYA 119' site, a reporting center to protect the rights and interests of its artists. This is a dimension to strengthen artist protection included in SM's 'SM 3.0' growth strategy announced in February.

The main screen of the Wilderness 119 site is largely composed of ARTIST defamation report, illegal ticket/copyright infringement report, correction report/opinion suggestion, and service inquiry bulletin board. Reported types can be viewed at a glance in real-time timeline format.

In the case of the artist defamation report board, false facts and slanderous posts as well as fake news can be reported together. Anyone who is a member of the SM Town website can use it. After writing down the object to be reported, a brief title, and the contents of the report, the URL or IP address of the related post must be linked or attached files such as images must be posted together.

As artists frequently suffer damage from the spread of false information, malicious slander, and invasion of privacy, SM-related departments plan to confirm whether or not they violated the law based on the reported data and take action against them. To this end, SM signed a business agreement with the law firm Shin Jong in March.

The bulletin board for reporting illegal tickets and copyright infringement was prepared to build a transparent and fair fandom culture by preventing illegal ticket transactions and strengthening copyright. In order to prevent illegal ticket sales, SM is in close discussions with the organizers of the concert and booking offices, and plans to open the bulletin board as soon as the negotiations are completed.

To report copyright infringement, you can leave a copyright infringement act related to your artist's music, video, etc. that has been illegally distributed online on the bulletin board.

The bulletin board for reporting corrections and suggestions is prepared to actively receive reports from fans in the event of an error in an artist's album, product, image, or video. You can also leave your wishes and ideas to artists and SM.

Through the operation of the Gwangya 119 site, SM plans to strive to strengthen communication with fans as well as protect the rights and interests of its artists.
