Hong Kong singer Coco Lee, it was the 30th anniversary of her debut... Died at home from depression

According to the Chinese Pengpai Newspaper on the 5th, Nancy, Coco Lee's older sister, reported the death of Coco Lee through Weibo.
They said, "CoCo suffered from depression for many years. After a long struggle with the disease, unfortunately, her illness recently worsened and she died at home. 2023 is the year that marks the 30th anniversary of CoCo's debut. For 29 years, passionate songs and dances have given us endless love. It gave me joy and surprise. I am proud of her for always making Chinese people shine while working harder to open up new horizons in the international music industry for Chinese singers."
Born in 1975, Coco Lee was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to the United States as a child. She completed elementary school, middle school, and high school in the United States. In 1994, while attending the University of California, Irvine, he made his debut in the entertainment industry by winning a prize in a singing competition held in Hong Kong.
He is a singer who enjoyed great popularity in China and Asia beyond Hong Kong. In 2000, he sang the theme song for the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and presented a celebratory performance at the Academy Awards the following year as a candidate for the Best Original Song.
