Hwasa, a member of Mamamoo who was involved in an obscene performance controversy, was accused by a parent's group.

On the 10th, Hwasa's agency P Nation said, "We know that the police are reviewing the case."

According to the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul on the same day, Hwasa was recently accused of obscenity in performances by the Student Parents Human Rights Protection Coalition (Hakinyeon), and an investigation has begun.

The reason the group filed a complaint against Hwasa to the police is that the performance Hwasa presented at a college festival in May caused discomfort to viewers. In May, Hwasa went on stage at the Sungkyunkwan University Festival to film the tvN entertainment program 'Dance Singer's Wandering Troupe'. Hwasa has been embroiled in a controversy that some of the choreography she showed while singing 'Don't Give Me' was a bit sensational.

Hak In-yeon criticized, "Hwasa was invited to the Sungkyunkwan University festival on May 12 and appeared. Hwasa acted completely out of context in the name of choreography at the festival performance." In addition, they argued, "Hwasa's actions are reminiscent of perverted sexual intercourse, which is enough to bring shame to the public who witnessed it."
