'Enlisted on the 24th' Monsta X Jooheon "Military service = work to do, this time is a comma"
On the 11th, Jooheon personally announced the enlistment news by posting a long handwritten letter on Monsta X's official fan cafe.
First, Jooheon said, “I will enlist in the military on July 24th. To be honest, I thought a lot about when would be a good time to talk. There is not much time left than I thought, so I am very worried about how Monbebe (fandom) will feel while writing this article. I really worried a lot because of this worry, but more than anything, I wanted Monbebe to smile happily and happily when they saw me at the fan-con, and I wanted to see that.”
Jooheon continued, “I feel sorry for the time left, and I’m still worried about Monbebes who will be upset over the short amount of time left, but since I’ve seen Monbebes being happy one by one, I think I’ll write the same way today even if I turn back time. Military service is also something I have to do. I will come back with courage," he added.
Jooheon ended his greetings to the fans by saying, "I'm not going anywhere forever, so don't worry, look at the sky every day, think over the words I said, and promise to remind you of Jooheon at least once a day."
Jooheon is the third member to fulfill his military duty after Monsta X members Shownu and Minhyuk.

To. MONBEBE. hello. Our dear Monbebes, I think we had a really busy time this year. That means we spent more time with our Monbebes, and we had a lot of memories together, right?
The positive smiles and happiness of Monbebes, the countless lights that Monbebes created... My heart, which was filled with all the love Monbebes gave me during the time I spent with them, is still filled with happiness.
The time I spend with our members and Monbebes is so precious and happy to me, so I'm finally telling this story today because I want to fully spend this time with you guys. Monbebe, I will enlist in the military on July 24th.
To be honest, I thought a lot about when would be a good time to talk. There is not much time left than I thought, so I am very worried about how Monbebes will feel even as I write this.
I worried a lot because of this worry... More than anything, I wanted Monbebe to smile happily and happily when they saw me at the fancon, and I wanted to see that. I also wanted to do the same.
So, it was only today that I was able to deliver the news like this. I feel sorry for the remaining time, and I am still worried about Monbebe who will be upset with the short time left, but since I have seen Monbebes being happy one by one, I think I will write the same way today even if I turn back time.
