Actor Hyun Woo-seok has proven his presence through the Netflix series 'GIRIGO'.
'GIRIGO' tells the story of high school students who are suddenly faced with a curse predicting their untimely deaths, all due to a wish-granting app called 'GIRIGO'. The series premiered on Netflix on the 24th of last month.
Hyun Woo-seok plays the role of Kang Ha-jun, a top-tier science genius. He delves into the app's system to uncover the truth behind the curse, showcasing his dedication by learning coding to authentically portray his character.
The chemistry between Ha-jun and his sister Haet-sal's boyfriend, Bang-ul (played by No Jae-won), is another highlight of the series. Hyun Woo-seok skillfully navigates a range of emotions, from cold rationality to youthful excitement, and fear-induced anxiety, making Kang Ha-jun's story compelling and believable.
Hyun Woo-seok made his debut in the 2019 Netflix series 'Love Alarm' as Choi Seong-jun. He has since built his filmography with roles in 'The School Nurse Files', 'Live On', 'Cheer Up', and films like 'Dolphin', 'Time to Hunt', and 'Five Minutes with You'.
'GIRIGO' reached the top spot in the 'Global Top 10' non-English shows category in its second week of release.
