In celebration of Children's Day, the group ILLIT held a comeback performance at Seoul Children's Grand Park.
According to Belift Lab, a label under HYBE, approximately 24,000 citizens gathered for the 'ILLIT Seoul Children's Grand Park Festival' held the previous day. This festival was organized to commemorate the release of ILLIT's mini 4th album 'MAMIHLAPINATAPAI' and was themed around the title track 'It's Me'.
The venue was bustling with activity from early on. Experience booths set up throughout the 'Open Stage and Plaza' saw long lines of families and friends. Parents holding their children's hands were a common sight.
A platform was provided for children to become the stars on stage and showcase their dreams. In the first part, children who love ILLIT's music passionately sang their hit songs. In the second part, ILLIT's performance director taught the key choreography of the new song. As 'It's Me' played, children in the audience stood up to follow the dance moves. Towards the end of the segment, ILLIT members made a surprise appearance and engaged in a dance challenge with the kids at eye level.
ILLIT concluded the festival with an outdoor performance. Held at the 'Stage in the Forest', all pre-drawn tickets and on-site distribution were completely sold out. ILLIT performed a series of hits, including 'It's Me', 'Do the Dance', 'Magnetic', and 'NOT CUTE ANYMORE'.
ILLIT expressed their surprise and gratitude, saying, "We were really surprised by the turnout. Thanks to your energy and bright smiles, we gained more strength. We hope the time we spent together was a happy gift."
