Comedian Park Mi-sun shared a heartwarming reunion with her husband, Lee Bong-won, during her first trip after undergoing cancer treatment.
On the 5th, Park Mi-sun's YouTube channel 'I am Park Mi-sun' released a video titled 'It's Been a While.'
In the video, Park Mi-sun, fresh from her cancer treatment, expressed her excitement about meeting a dear person with her children. Taking the GTX from Ilsan to Seoul Station for the first time, she admitted, "I'm nervous and excited because it's my first time." She added, "It's my first train ride since getting sick, making this trip even more meaningful."
Upon arriving in Daejeon, Park Mi-sun headed straight to 'Bong Jjambbong,' a restaurant run by her husband, Lee Bong-won. She joked, "Many people visit Seongsimdang when they come to Daejeon, but if you go up to the 9th floor of L Department Store, you'll find another familiar face."
At the restaurant, Park Mi-sun congratulated Lee Bong-won on his second location, saying, "Is this the second branch? Congratulations." Lee Bong-won humorously replied, "It's been a year, what are you congratulating me for?" showcasing their genuine couple chemistry.
Lee Bong-won, who is at the restaurant every Thursday and Sunday, said, "I sign autographs and take photos with everyone. But it's awkward when people come without autograph sheets," causing laughter.
Park Mi-sun, who promised to "evaluate objectively," praised the restaurant, saying, "It's perfect for coming alone and enjoying jjajangmyeon or jjambbong with tangsuyuk. The portions are huge. What's left?" When Lee Bong-won confidently stated, "The Daejeon branch has been open for a year and it's booming," Park Mi-sun enthusiastically promoted, "Everyone, please come a lot."
As the final part of her trip, Park Mi-sun visited her father-in-law's grave, wishing for her family's health, adding a touching moment to the journey.
Meanwhile, Park Mi-sun was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2024 and began chemotherapy in January 2025, enduring a year-long battle. She underwent 13 chemotherapy sessions and 16 radiation treatments due to lymph node metastasis but has now completed treatment and is recovering her health.
