Rapper NO:EL, whose real name is Jang Yong-jun, commemorated Children's Day by sharing childhood photos with his late father, former lawmaker Jang Je-won.
On May 5th, NO:EL posted several photos on his social media with the caption, "Leave nice comments." The photos show a young NO:EL in pajamas enjoying a warm family moment.
The images notably feature the late Jang Je-won, drawing attention. In one photo, NO:EL is seen smiling brightly while being held by his father. He also included two hand-shaped emojis, expressing longing and a heartfelt greeting to his late father.
Previously, NO:EL's father, former lawmaker Jang Je-won, was found dead in April last year amid a police investigation into allegations of sexual assault against his secretary while serving as a vice president at a university in Busan. His suicide note reportedly expressed apologies and love for his family.
NO:EL first gained recognition in 2017 on Mnet's hip-hop program 'High School Rapper.' However, he faced legal issues, receiving a suspended sentence for a DUI accident in 2019 and attempting to switch drivers post-accident. In 2021, he was sentenced to one year in prison for driving without a license and assaulting a police officer, serving his sentence until his release in October 2022.
