Comedian Hong Hyun-hee's husband, Jay Written, shared a heartwarming video of their son Junbeom's first visit to the dentist.
On the YouTube channel 'Hong Hyun-hee and Jay Written's Hongssun TV', a video titled 'Junbeom's Secret Dentist Visit' was uploaded on the 4th.
In the video, Jay Written and his son Junbeom shared a playful yet affectionate father-son dynamic from the morning, capturing viewers' attention.
Junbeom showcased his unique taste from the moment he chose his shoes. When he picked mismatched shoes, Jay Written asked, "Are you okay with them being mismatched?" but quickly added, "I respect your fashion choices," acknowledging his son's decision. Junbeom confidently replied, "I like these," to which Jay Written responded with a proud smile, "That's stylish. You have a good sense."
The reality of parenting was evident during their preparation to go out. A small struggle ensued over brushing teeth, with Jay Written persuading, "You need to brush your teeth to get a present." Despite grumbling, Junbeom eventually brushed his teeth, and Jay Written emphasized his parenting philosophy, "You have to be thorough. Hygiene is non-negotiable."
The real purpose of their outing was a surprise visit to the dentist. Jay Written admitted, "We've all been tricked by our parents into going to the doctor," yet he couldn't shake his worries.
Upon arriving at the dentist, Junbeom was caught off guard and began to cry. Jay Written calmly explained the situation, saying, "This is a public place, so it's noisy if you cry," and firmly added, "I understand you're upset, but you need to hold it in here."
The dentist, observing the scene, remarked, "Junbeom isn't the type to throw a tantrum," impressed by his behavior. Jay Written played the role of a patient, helping Junbeom get accustomed to the dental environment through play. Junbeom quickly calmed down and received his check-up, surprising everyone around.
After the appointment, the atmosphere changed completely. Junbeom received several toy gifts and quickly regained his smile, with Jay Written praising him, "You did well," and giving him a hug. Junbeom cheerfully added, "I'll come again next time," leaving a warm impression.
Meanwhile, Hong Hyun-hee and Jay Written have been married since October 2018 and have a son, Junbeom.
