In the video, Seong Hae-eun reunites with a fellow flight attendant who is now an instructor, reminiscing about their past and sharing interview tips for different airlines. Reflecting on her time as a flight attendant, Seong expressed her deep affection for the job, stating, "If my stamina had allowed, I would have worked longer." She revealed that her challenging work life and overseas experiences helped her grow into a stronger and more impressive person.
To fully experience the role, Seong visited a flight attendant academy to try on the Asiana Airlines uniform she had longed for. She adjusted her hair and makeup, revealing that she often heard she had an 'Asiana look' due to her warm skin tone. She shared an anecdote about being criticized by an instructor for the blue Korean Air uniform not matching her skin tone.
Seong was delighted with her appearance in the Asiana uniform and joked that she would have received many business cards from passengers if she had flown in that look. She humorously recalled being called a 'pig flight attendant' due to her love for in-flight meals.
Seong didn't forget to offer realistic advice for aspiring flight attendants. She emphasized the importance of establishing a clear personal image during interviews, suggesting that a universally likable appearance is more advantageous than simply being a beauty. She advised against slicked-back hairstyles unless confident in one's face shape and recommended finding a style that highlights personal strengths rather than relying on expensive makeup salons.
After trying on the Asiana uniform, Seong revisited the familiar Korean Air uniform, joking that it brought back the nervousness of her early days, as if her body remembered the experience. She concluded the video by reflecting on how her early experiences as a flight attendant were foundational in shaping who she is today.
