Professor Lee Ho-sun has responded to criticism regarding her lecture style. Known for her 'tiger teacher' approach, she has gained popularity through appearances on various shows such as JTBC's 'Divorce Deliberation Camp', SBS Plus's 'Lee Ho-sun's Cider', and tvN STORY's 'Lee Ho-sun Counseling Center'.
On October 3rd, Professor Lee took to Instagram to address the concerns about her lecture demeanor. She stated, "It seems some people were disheartened. I must have been giving my all during that lecture. I tried my best to ensure attendees didn't leave with empty hearts."
She further explained, "As those in counseling know, it's not a lucrative profession. Yet, counselors work diligently, driven by a sense of calling." She added, "I strive to convey my message through lectures and reflect on my calling through counseling. If my lectures are earnest and my counseling heals, I am content."
Professor Lee also advised, "Don't be upset by jokes during lectures. Broadcast counseling has many unseen aspects and is often a single session, so don't be too frustrated if it doesn't follow the expected path."
She promised to be more cautious and attentive, stating, "I will dedicate more effort to counseling. I am grateful for the advice at this time."
