Kangnam has revealed that he lost 44 pounds in just four months.
On the October 3rd episode of SBS's variety show 'My Little Old Boy,' Kangnam appeared as a special MC.
During the show, Seo Jang-hoon mentioned, "Kangnam once weighed up to 198 pounds but lost 44 pounds in four months. He said Lee Sang-hwa's attitude towards him changed after the weight loss."
Kangnam responded, "She treats me very nicely now. When I was 198 pounds, she treated me like a senior athlete, telling me to lose weight. I guess she didn't like how I looked. Now, she treats me very well. Husbands need to make an effort to be loved."
Kangnam also shared a story about how their secret relationship was revealed because of their pet dog. During a broadcast they appeared on together, Kangnam's dog, Gangbuk, barked aggressively at others but showed affection towards Lee Sang-hwa, which was caught on camera.
Kangnam said, "Even now, it's obvious. Watching that in the studio made me sweat. Lee Sang-hwa took great care of the dog, and the dog really liked her."
He added, "If you look closely, you can see Lee Sang-hwa's hands trembling. Dogs can't lie," which brought laughter.
Kangnam, who passed the naturalization test on his sixth attempt, shared, "It was very difficult. The test questions were all new to me. There were many challenging questions, so I studied a lot."
