DAY6's Wonpil has made a stunning transformation into a dance artist.
On November 3rd, Wonpil held his solo concert 'WONPIL SOLO CONCERT 'Unpiltered'' at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul. This marked the final show of a three-day concert series that began on November 1st.
Wonpil prepared a variety of performances for the event, showcasing his new dance persona. He took the stage with dancers for songs like 'Wedding Song,' 'Love, Is This Right,' and 'Not a Million Roses,' singing and dancing in a way not typically seen from band members, eliciting cheers from the audience.
Demonstrating his background as a dance idol trainee, Wonpil impressed with his dance moves. Holding a white rose, he made gestures as if offering it to fans and even held the rose in his mouth with a captivating expression. After the performance, Wonpil playfully remarked, "How was my dancing? It's no big deal."
Meanwhile, Wonpil released his first solo mini-album 'Unpiltered' in March. He showcased his singer-songwriter talents by participating in the writing and composing of all the tracks, with all seven songs making it onto Melon's Top 100 chart on the day of release. The concert series sold out all three shows immediately after tickets went on sale.
