Former TVXQ member Park Yoochun has shared an update on his life six years after admitting to drug use charges.
On April 30, Park Yoochun posted several photos on his social media, expressing gratitude for being able to work with his team. He wrote, "Being able to work together is proof that everyone is working hard. Thank you for the wonderful time. Everyone in the universe is the best. I want to work even harder." In the photos, Park Yoochun is seen enjoying a casual outing at a Japanese izakaya, wearing a blue knit sweater and horn-rimmed glasses while sipping on beer.
His noticeably changed appearance caught the attention of fans. In another set of photos, Park Yoochun sports a striking blonde perm and a jacket with bold patterns, smiling for the camera. His appearance, with significantly less hair and a more pronounced ribcage, was a stark contrast to his look during his active years in Korea.
Previously, in 2019, Park Yoochun was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year probation for purchasing and using drugs with his former girlfriend, Hwang Hana, who is known as the granddaughter of the founder of Namyang Dairy Products. During a press conference at the time, he tearfully denied the drug allegations, stating, "I have never used drugs, risking my career in the entertainment industry," but later admitted to the charges during a police investigation, leading to his exit from the entertainment industry.
Since receiving probation, Park Yoochun has resumed his career, targeting a global fanbase. He is currently actively working in Japan.
