Actor Kim Seok-hoon (53) and a mysterious hidden actor are set to join the casting lineup for the short-form drama on 'Hangout with Yoo'.
On the upcoming episode of MBC's variety show 'Hangout with Yoo', airing on the 2nd, Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Heo Kyung-hwan, and Joo Woo-jae will be seen forming a team to produce a short-form drama.
The four will embark on casting the male lead based on ideas from their meeting. Director Yoo Jae-suk recalls his friend and actor Kim Seok-hoon, known for hit dramas like 'Hong Gil-dong' and 'Tomato'.
The team approaches Kim Seok-hoon, who is participating in a recording for another network, and Yoo Jae-suk expresses his surprise, saying, “I didn’t expect to come this far for 'Hangout with Yoo' filming.” He continues the intense meeting, telling Kim, “I have good news. You need to seize this opportunity,” as he attempts to persuade him, drawing attention to whether they will succeed in casting him.
The team continues their intense deliberation over a casting choice that could be a game-changer, eventually considering another actor. Yoo Jae-suk remarks, “This could be an unexpected kick,” and attempts to contact the actor. Upon hearing the name of this actor, known for their intense acting skills, Joo Woo-jae reacts with, “This is getting big,” piquing curiosity. Yoo Jae-suk surprises the actor with an unconventional proposal, different from other producers.
Whether Director Yoo can complete the lineup with 'trusted actors' and the process of casting for the short-form drama can be seen on 'Hangout with Yoo', airing at 6:30 PM.
