In the first two episodes released on the 29th, Lee Kwang-soo takes on the role of 'Director Park', a relentless gang leader in pursuit of missing gold bars. From the very first scene, he captivates viewers with his intense voice as he pressures Kim Hee-joo (played by Park Bo-young) over the phone.
Director Park's ruthless demeanor sends chills down viewers' spines. He clings to the car driven by Hee-joo, smashing the window with his hands and forehead to catch her. He also visits the hospitalized Do-kyung, pressing on his wounds to force him to call the runaway. Furthermore, Park suspects that organization member Woo-gi (played by Kim Sung-cheol) might have hidden the coffin with someone else, threatening to cut off Woo-gi's ear to ensure there are no accomplices among them.
Alongside Lee Kwang-soo, the series stars Park Bo-young, Kim Sung-cheol, Lee Hyun-wook, Kim Hee-won, and Moon Jung-hee. 'Goldland' will release episodes 3 and 4 on May 6th, with two episodes released weekly, totaling 10 episodes.
