Hawonmi, Wife of Baseball Star Choo Shin-soo, Visits Exclusive New York Restaurant with Black Card

Hawonmi, the wife of baseball player Choo Shin-soo and a Pilates instructor and broadcaster, recently shared her visit to a luxurious New York restaurant, accessible only to Black Card holders.

On the 29th, the YouTube channel 'Hawonmi' featured a video titled 'Visited a New York Restaurant Only Accessible to Black Card Holders.' In the video, Hawonmi took her daughter Sohee, who is living in a dormitory in Massachusetts, on a trip to New York.

She expressed her excitement, saying, "There's a restaurant that only Black Card holders can enter. I'm looking forward to the food and the panoramic view of New York." The 'Black Card,' officially known as the 'American Express Centurion Card,' is reportedly issued to individuals with an average bank balance of over 20 billion KRW and requires an annual spending of approximately $250,000 to maintain membership.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, the duo was awestruck by the luxurious interior and the breathtaking view of New York's skyline. Hawonmi commented, "This is the Centurion New York Restaurant. My husband isn't fond of French cuisine, so it's just us girls today," as they began their meal.

When the steak was served, Hawonmi remarked, "It's perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious," adding humorously, "I said it might be too rich, but I ended up finishing everything." She was also surprised to find that two bottles of water cost $16, exclaiming, "We have to drink all of it." The total bill, including tips, came to approximately $350, which she shared with a sense of amazement.

Choo Shin-soo, who joined MLB right after high school, has reportedly earned a cumulative salary of around 190 billion KRW. He previously made headlines by revealing his approximately 5,500-pyeong residence in Texas.

Hawonmi married Choo Shin-soo in 2004, and the couple has two sons and a daughter.
