Professor Lee Ho-sun of 'Lee Ho-sun's Counseling Center' has unveiled a shocking story of a couple.
On the 29th, a video titled "Everything About My Wife Was a Lie!? A Life Built on Lies with a 7-Year-Old Daughter - Ripley Syndrome Wife" was posted on the tvN STORY channel.
The video is an edited segment from the tvN STORY entertainment program 'Lee Ho-sun's Counseling Center' that aired on the 28th.
On this day, Professor Lee shared the story of a couple, stating, "The husband was in his first marriage, but the wife was in her second. However, she told her husband it was her first marriage." He continued, "In reality, she wasn't even divorced. They lived as a weekend couple, and it turned out she had a 7-year-old daughter," leaving everyone in shock.
During the counseling session, the wife tearfully confessed, "I was abused as a child. I was also assaulted by my estranged husband." Professor Lee recalled, "The husband cried uncontrollably upon hearing this."
However, he noted, "Her entire life seemed to be nothing but a series of tragedies," raising suspicions. The most astonishing revelation came from the husband's conversation with his mother-in-law.
"When the husband asked about his wife's upbringing, the mother-in-law responded, 'What are you talking about? My husband is a law-abiding man. In fact, we're struggling to pay off our daughter's loans,'" presenting a completely different perspective.
Professor Lee explained, "When I asked the wife, 'How did you endure such pain?' she tearfully replied, 'I have to live, don't I?' It seemed she genuinely believed her own fabricated life story."
Ultimately, the couple separated, with Professor Lee noting, "They parted ways since they hadn't registered their marriage." Further revelations were even more shocking. He disclosed, "The 7-year-old daughter wasn't even the child of her previous husband. Her entire life was a lie."
Professor Lee concluded, "I believe the divorce was the right decision," but added, "I'm certain there will be more victims."
