Actresses Park Won-sook and Kim Young-ok Share Heartfelt Moments Over Shared Loss
On the 29th, Kim Young-ok's channel featured a video titled "Complete Interior Makeover: First Look at Park Won-sook's Namhae Home."
In the video, Kim Young-ok travels to Namhae to meet Park Won-sook. She expressed her excitement, saying, "I'm a bit thrilled. I spent about 50 days in Namhae while filming the movie 'Picnic.' I'm going there to heal."
Park Won-sook, who has gained attention for running a café in Namhae, welcomed Kim Young-ok at her café. She shared, "When I first opened the café, the daily sales were 180,000 won."
She added, "After Im Hyun-sik visited, the daily sales jumped to 5.4 million won," drawing attention.
Both having experienced similar pain, Kim Young-ok said, "I was afraid to touch on it, fearing it would hurt more. Didn't your son pass away while you were working on the drama 'Pearl Necklace'? Your only one..." She became emotional and couldn't continue.
Park Won-sook responded, "Even if you have ten, it's the same," and Kim Young-ok added, "Children are buried in the heart," sharing their sorrow over losing a child.
Kim Young-ok also expressed her longing for her parents, saying, "It's different from parents. I try not to forget by taking out photos of their younger days and greeting them. It feels like I'm going crazy or possessed, but I live for fun."
Meanwhile, Park Won-sook tragically lost her only son in a car accident in November 2003.
In July of last year, on KBS2TV's 'Park Won-sook's Living Together,' she opened up about her feelings after losing her son. She said, "I think it's because of the accident my son had. Unexpected accidents make me anxious."
She continued, "I feel like I haven't received true healing, as my son's incident and my inner feelings surface. I wonder if I'm just continuously oozing," revealing that she hasn't fully healed from the loss, evoking sympathy.
