Jung Yi-seo Joins Netflix Series 'Wonderfuls' with Son Hyun-joo

Actress Jung Yi-seo has been confirmed to star in the Netflix series 'Wonderfuls', directed by Yoo In-sik and written by Heo Da-jung. She will be acting alongside Son Hyun-joo.

'Wonderfuls' is a supernatural comic adventure series set in 1999, where a group of ordinary people accidentally gain superpowers and struggle to protect the world from villains threatening peace. Jung Yi-seo will play the role of Seok Joo-ran.

Seok Joo-ran is a character who, along with Ha Won-do (played by Son Hyun-joo), whom she believes to be her father, pursues twisted desires. Jung Yi-seo has showcased her versatile acting skills in films like 'Parasite', 'Samjin Company English Class', 'Josée', 'Decision to Leave', 'The Killers', and dramas such as 'Voice 3', 'Tale of the Nine Tailed', 'All of Us Are Dead', and 'The Killer's Shopping List'. Her new role is highly anticipated.

Jung Yi-seo gained recognition in the Netflix series 'You Have Done Well', where she played Song Bu-seon, the daughter of a boarding house owner in Seoul, alongside IU's character Yang Geum-myung. She captivated audiences with her unique charm and realistic portrayal of romantic relationships, showcasing her strong character interpretation skills with period-accurate makeup.

'Wonderfuls' is set to premiere on Netflix in May.
