On the 28th, Ko So-young uploaded a video titled 'Why Ko So-young Deleted All Her YouTube Videos (Confession)' on her YouTube channel. Previously, she had deleted all her uploaded videos and abruptly halted her activities.
Ko So-young began by saying, "I deleted all the videos and took a break for about a month. I was conflicted about whether stopping video uploads was the right decision. However, being pressured to upload at a set time made me feel trapped in my daily life."
She also addressed the rumors surrounding her. Ko So-young recalled, "I wasn't part of a public recruitment class and didn't build a career. At one point, I wanted to continue doing films back-to-back, but I got tired of the media. I had many male friends, and they were edited together to create a fictional dating rumor."
She continued, "Whenever a 'K scandal' appeared in the gossip columns, my name was always mentioned. There was even a rumor that I had given birth. I couldn't understand it. At that time, new advertisements were coming out every month, so when would I have been pregnant? It didn't make sense, so I ignored it."
Ko So-young explained, "But one day, a woman said, 'Ko So-young, you look so slim even after having a baby. Did you lose weight quickly?' I thought if I didn't clear up these rumors, I wouldn't be able to get married. And when my children are born, I would have to explain these rumors to them. So, I sued everyone. It was a humiliating experience."
She added, "When I was younger, I used to say whatever I wanted, but now I have kids and a husband who is a public figure. I can't do as I please because it affects my family."
